Role Overview: Our client is a U.S. company that creates interactive, age-appropriate sports and movement content for children, specifically girls aged 4–11. Their focus is on helping kids develop athletic skills, confidence, and healthy habits through fun, engaging videos and programs.
We are looking for a hands‑on Social Media Manager & Educational Content Strategist to both execute and guide our social media growth strategy across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. You will be responsible for day-to-day content management, community engagement, video editing, as well as developing growth strategies, analyzing performance, and planning campaigns to grow our channels from zero to 100K+ followers.
Core Responsibilities: Execution & Management
Schedule, publish, and manage content across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
Edit long‑form video content (18–28 min episodes) into short‑form clips, reels, and shorts
Respond to comments, messages, and engage with our audience daily
Maintain a content calendar and ensure consistent posting schedules
Create simple graphics and captions using tools like Canva
Coordinate with animation and production teams to repurpose video content
Report on social media performance weekly
Strategy & Growth
Develop social media growth strategies tailored for kids/education content
Analyze competitors and identify trends, opportunities, and viral formats
Recommend video topics, formats, posting times, and frequencies
Plan content campaigns around video launches and key milestones
Develop audience segmentation strategies (e.g., 4–6, 7–8, 9–11 age groups)
Provide strategic direction to execution teams and guide day‑to‑day posting decisions
Track performance metrics and adjust strategies to maximize growth
Who You Are
A hands‑on executor who enjoys managing social media and engaging with communities
A strategic thinker who can plan growth roadmaps and make data‑driven decisions
Experienced in the kids/education content landscape and understands what resonates with the audience
Organized, consistent, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Comfortable with video editing, content repurposing, and analytics tools
This role is open to all Latin America residents.
2+ years managing and growing social media channels (0–100K followers preferred)
Strong video editing skills (cutting long‑form into shorts/reels)
Experience with content collaboration tools (e.g., Frame.io)
Proficiency in social media scheduling and analytics tools
Excellent written English for captions, community engagement, and strategic presentations
Knowledge of platform algorithms and growth strategies for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
Nice to Have:
Experience with paid social campaigns
Understanding of YouTube monetization and sponsorship strategies
Background in content marketing, brand strategy, or working with content creators
