The Corteva Agriscience Finance team has an opportunity available for an Investor Relations Manager in Indianapolis, IN.
Job Summary This person will support Investor Relations through a combination of the following: quarterly earnings preparation, development of presentation materials, internal and external communications, analyst relations, financial analysis and day‑to‑day IR activities. Seeking a team player who can work independently, with limited guidance. Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve messaging and communication of key topics. Works well under pressure/time constraints with high level of attention to detail.
Primary Responsibilities - How will you help us Grow!
Assist with planning, development, and execution of key investor events, conferences, small group meetings, and non‑deal roadshows.
Prepare presentations and communications materials for corporate and investor presentations, marketing presentations, webcasts and earnings materials, including high impact presentations used by senior leaders in key investor conferences and other events, earnings releases, conference call scripts, Q&A, supplemental data, earnings presentations and ad‑hoc financial analysis.
Design, maintain, and enhance investor relations collateral and presentations, including maintaining and refreshing content on the Investor Relations website.
Build and maintain investment model based on company disclosures.
Lead the review and summarization of analyst reports and competitive financial analysis.
Develop a deep understanding of capital market flows and communicate the drivers to relevant stakeholders.
Assist with answering standard investor related inquiries, inbound phone calls, and emails in a timely manner.
Provide clear and timely analysis on all topics relevant to investor relations for internal stakeholders, including preparing weekly updates on consensus.
Develop and maintain third‑party vendors to support ongoing shareholder base analysis, investor targeting, and reporting.
Collaboration with functional stakeholders to ensure support and alignment of key messaging areas.
Education and Experience
5+ years of related experience, with a background in finance, marketing, or sales that provides solid fundamental training for a role in Investor Relations.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
Understanding of valuation and modeling techniques used by investors and analysts.
Demonstrated understanding of Reg FD and other SEC disclosure rules and regulations.
Strong financial acumen with detailed understanding of financial statements.
Strong communication skills: Both internally and externally, with the ability to explain complex matters in a straightforward way.
Strong analytical skills and solid project management skills.
Exceptional attention to detail, placing a high priority on accuracy and organization.
Preferred
CFA, BA or MBA in finance related discipline preferred.
Prior experience on the sell side or buy side, accounting, finance, investment banking, or private equity preferred.
