Field Sales Representative, Contract Surety Job description: The position of Field Representative, Contract Surety is a remote field position in which the candidate must reside in the respective territory and report to the corporate office in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. Your Target Market focuses on small to medium-sized contractors that work in the public sector and require a surety bond. We are seeking entrepreneurial individuals who are self-motivated, well-organized, and determined to overachieve. The position entails calling on a database of qualified contractors, scheduling appointments, and presenting our services to contractors, reviewing the prospect’s financial strength to qualify, and gaining agreement on the program’s benefits. You will be trained and guided by a Field Underwriting Manager. This position pays a salary plus a very aggressive incentive plan. Qualifications: Entrepreneurial skills Generic Selling Skills Strong Interpersonal Skills Energetic Telephone Presence Confident Presentation Skills Familiarity with basic accounting principles and the construction including is a plus. Territories are currently open in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Paid training at our corporate office.
