PRODUCT SPECIALIST Batory Foods is seeking a Product Specialist with experience in food ingredients, sourcing, or food manufacturing environments to support assigned product lines. This role partners closely with Product Managers, Sales, Vendors, and Operations to drive product line performance, margin accuracy, and market responsiveness.

This is not a retail product role. It is a cross‑functional position focused on ingredient sourcing, vendor management, financial analysis, and product line strategy within the food industry.

Key Responsibilities

Support Product Managers in overseeing assigned food ingredient product lines.

Review monthly product line financials and identify margin improvement opportunities.

Analyze cost models, pricing structures, and market conditions.

Serve as a subject‑matter resource to Sales and Customer Experience teams.

Manage vendor contracts, cost updates, trade agreements, and item setup in D365.

Support forecasting, inventory planning inputs, and stock mode reviews.

Communicate market updates, pricing shifts, and supply chain impacts.

Collaborate with Operations on transportation, warehousing, and packaging improvement.

Assist with international import processes including customs, tariffs, and drayage logistics.

Skills and Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, Supply Chain, or related field.

Experience in food ingredients, food manufacturing, sourcing, or procurement environments.

Exposure to vendor management and margin analysis.

Strong proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (D365 preferred).

Experience working cross‑functionally with Sales and Operations teams.

Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.

Preferred

Experience in product management or purchasing within the food industry.

Knowledge of ingredient sourcing markets.

Familiarity with CRM systems such as MS Dynamics or Power BI.
