MEP: Protect the environment and the natural resources of the Commonwealth through enforcement, education and public outreach.

Job Description: The Social Media Intern will support the Massachusetts Environmental Police Boat & Recreation Vehicle Safety Bureau in its public outreach efforts and promotion of boating safety education. This role offers the opportunity to help create engaging content, increase public awareness, and contribute to initiatives that promote safe and responsible recreational boating.

Job Duties: Manage our Social Medial pages and support public outreach especially for Boating Safety.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to utilize office equipment (Printer/copier, scanner, etc.).

Ability to create electronic files.

Ability to organize data.

This internship is unpaid and designed to support students or recent graduates seeking practical experience in the field. Interns may be eligible to earn academic credit through their college or university.

Weekly Hours: 20 hours
