We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Marketing and Advertising Assistant to join our dynamic marketing team. This role plays a key part in supporting the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing and advertising initiatives. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple tasks while ensuring a consistent and professional representation of the Seven Feathers Hotel & Casino brand.
Creative Coordination & Marketing Support
Process creative work plans and route creative proofs to appropriate team members for review and approval.
Proofread and edit advertising and promotional collateral, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency; communicate necessary revisions in a professional manner.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials and assets.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks at once.
Proofreading of all marketing material for accuracy prior to production.
Excellent use of English language with the ability to proofread, copy-write, and correct/use proper grammar.
Ability to anticipate needs and be proactive in meeting those needs without formal direction.
Marketing Operations & Administrative Support
Create and process warehouse requisitions, purchase order requisitions, and check disbursement requests for the Marketing Department.
Receive, verify, and process vendor invoices, ensuring accurate documentation and timely payment.
Submit company events for listing on community and chamber calendars to increase public engagement.
Monitor and track daily production shipments to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
Distribute marketing materials as received and according to departmental needs.
Communication & Internal Coordination
Stay well‑informed by consistently reviewing internal communications, emails, and organizational updates.
Respond promptly, professionally, and accurately to requests for information.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information shared through verbal, written, or digital channels, with access limited to job‑related use only.
Event & Promotion Support
Stay up to date on current and upcoming events and promotions and provide relevant information as needed to the marketing and other departments.
Support efforts to ensure events are communicated clearly through external listings and internal planning.
Requirements
Associate's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Relevant experience may be substituted for educational requirements on a year‑for‑year basis.
1–2 years of experience in a marketing, administrative, or coordination role preferred.
Strong editing and proofreading skills, with keen attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong ability to self‑manage tasks, time, and responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with project tracking or creative tools is a plus.
Professional demeanor with a strong sense of discretion and accountability.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Gaming License III.
Ability to qualify for the UIDC’s drivers' program.
