About The Role The Adventure Park at Sandy Spring is seeking a part-time Social Media Content Coordinator to manage the park’s organic social media presence. This role is responsible for capturing and sharing engaging content that showcases the adventure park experience, reaches new audiences, and strengthens our brand across digital platforms. The Social Media Content Coordinator will manage the park’s social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and emerging platforms, ensuring consistent, high-quality content that reflects the excitement and unique experiences offered at the park. This position reports to the Director of Business Development and averages approximately 15-20 hours per week. Compensation:

$18-$22/hour based on experience This positions requires weekend availability. In general, content will be collected on weekends. The Adventure Park is a seasonal business with fluctuating hours of operation throughout the year. The park is open 7-days a week June - August, which will allow for more schedule flexibility. Responsibilities Content Creation & Platform Management Create and publish engaging content across The Adventure Park’s social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. Maintain an active posting schedule by publishing content multiple times per week on each platform. Capture photo and video content throughout the park including climbers, groups, events, staff, and behind-the-scenes moments. Produce short-form vertical video content for social platforms. Schedule and manage content using Buffer, the park’s social media scheduling platform. Make real-time content decisions based on park activity, events, and trends while maintaining the park’s brand voice. Work closely with park leadership to support promotions, events, and organizational priorities. Coordinate with operations staff to capture content during busy weekends, group visits, and special events. Identify and connect with local influencers, outdoor creators, and content partners to expand the park’s digital reach. Coordinate influencer visits and collaborate on content that highlights the park experience. Use platform analytics to guide content decisions and improve engagement. Stay current on social media trends and continuously identify new opportunities to showcase the park through creative storytelling. Qualifications 1–3+ years of experience managing social media accounts for a brand or organization. Experience creating photo and video content for social media platforms. Required Skills Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook content formats. Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, and or another video editing software. Experience with Buffer or similar social media scheduling tools. Strong photography and mobile video creation skills. Strong graphic design skills with an eye for visual storytelling that captures excitement and adventure. Creative storytelling and strong organizational abilities. Comfortable working outdoors and capturing content in an active park environment. Weekend availability is required, as many of the park’s busiest and most engaging moments occur during peak operating days. Schedule Part-time position averaging approximately 20 hours per week. Weekend work is required to capture content during peak park activity.
