Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Social Services Director to lead our social services team in providing individualized care and support to our residents. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social services programs, coordinating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement social services programs that promote resident well‑being, independence, and quality of life
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify resident needs and develop comprehensive care plans
Conduct social assessments, develop plans of care, and provide supportive services to residents
Coordinate with family members and caregivers to ensure effective communication and support
Supervise and mentor social services staff to provide exceptional resident care
Maintain accurate records and reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and services
Requirements
1+ years of experience in social services or a related field
Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising social services staff
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
