Position Overview The Golf Sales Business Development Manager is responsible for driving year-over-year growth across all SiteOne product lines within the golf segment. This role will focus on rebuilding and expanding the LESCO/SiteOne brand presence in the Atlanta market by developing strong customer relationships, delivering technical expertise, and executing strategic sales initiatives. This individual will serve as a trusted partner to golf course decision-makers while supporting internal teams with agronomic knowledge and solution-based selling.
What You’ll Do
Drive new golf business and organic growth within the assigned territory (Central & North Georgia).
Build and maintain strong relationships with Golf Course Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, and key facility stakeholders.
Identify opportunities, develop leads, and guide customers through a consultative, solution-based sales process.
Grow sales and gross margin within an assigned book of business.
Deliver technical agronomic support and product recommendations aligned with customer needs.
Partner with Branch teams, Key Account Managers, and Field Support to deliver best‑in‑class customer solutions.
Coordinate and lead customer trainings, product demonstrations, and educational events with strategic vendor partners.
Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices; help implement them in the field.
Act as a brand ambassador to strengthen and reestablish the LESCO/SiteOne position in the Atlanta golf market
Skills We Are Seeking
3–5+ years of golf course maintenance or turfgrass management experience (transition zone or southern U.S. preferred)
Strong working knowledge of turfgrass agronomy and daily golf course operations.
Proven ability to build relationships, influence decisions, and drive sales growth.
Ability to clearly communicate value and differentiate products in a competitive market.
Highly organized with strong time management and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
High school diploma required; degree in Turfgrass, Agronomy, Soils, or Horticulture preferred
