Social Media Coordinator & Videographer Job at Village Properties in Santa Barba

Village Properties is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator & Videographer to join our in-house marketing team on a part-time, temporary/contract basis. This role is ideal for someone who excels in creating engaging social-first video content, thrives in a collaborative environment, and can help bring our brand vision to life—with the potential for extended hours or a permanent position based on performance and business needs.

What You’ll Do

• Capture high-quality video content focused on social media (Reels, short-form video, and lifestyle content)
• Edit polished, engaging videos optimized for digital marketing platforms
• Support content creation both in-office and on-site at listings, events, and agent projects
• Work closely under the Marketing Director and Marketing Associate to execute and maintain brand vision
• Collaborate on creative direction, storyboarding, and social content ideas
• Schedule and publish social media posts across platforms as time permits (with a primary focus on video production)
• Occasionally capture still photography as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in videography, lighting, and audio capture
• Proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar)
• Understanding of social media trends and short-form video best practices
• Ability to take direction well while contributing creative ideas
• Professional demeanor with a detail-oriented approach to production and post-production
• Comfortable working both independently and within a collaborative team environment
• Ability to travel to various on-site locations as needed
• Real estate or architectural video experience is a plus, but not required

Schedule & Compensation

• Part-time, approximately 22 hours per week
• Temporary/contract role with potential for extension or permanent placement
• In-house role based in Santa Barbara with on-site work as needed
• Hourly pay range: $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience
