Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership to administer, install, configure, patch and upgrade MS SQL Server Databases.
Utilize MS SQL Server, Azure SQL, AWS SQL, Mongo DB, T-SQL, PowerShell, SSIS, TDE, SSMS, etc.
Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks & optimize queries, server configurations.
Design, implement & test backup recovery strategies.
Provide support to database related issues, perform root cause analysis.
Develop & maintain scripts (T-SQL, Power Shell) to automate administrative tasks.
Similar duties.
Requirements
MS or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering (any) or Information Systems or Technology or Related and 3 years’ experience in MS SQL Server database administration, including experience using T‑SQL, Azure SQL and AWS (OR)
BS or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering (any) or Information Systems or Technology or Related and 5 years of relevant progressive experience MS SQL Server database administration, including at least 3 years of experience using T‑SQL, Azure SQL and AWS.
Full time, Travel/Relocation Involved.
Salary $149K/Year.
