
Senior Construction Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Superintendent to lead and support healthcare and education projects throughout the greater Indianapolis area. This candidate should bring over 15 years of experience supporting ground-up construction builds and is ready to step into leadership and senior opportunities.
Our partner has been around since 1977, and they really handle everything from start to finish, starting with land acquisition all the way through to handing over the keys. They are a fully integrated developer-contractor, with teams across construction, development, and property services all working together.
They are based on the north side of Indianapolis and focus mostly on local projects. A lot of their work is in warehouse and distribution, with a couple of new projects kicking off this June, but they also take on healthcare, daycare, and other types of developments.
Description
Walk the job site and oversee subcontractors
Create and manage the daily construction schedule
Ensure the site is clean and safe
Supervise all field work - manage trades and subs
Lead client walk-throughs and OAC meetings
Communicate necessary changes
Create and manage a 3-6 week look-ahead schedule to plan upcoming tasks
Profile
15+ years of experience managing ground-up commercial, industrial, or warehouse construction projects
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certified
Proficiency in Autodesk, Procore, and MS Project for scheduling
Experience with preconstruction planning
Experience managing budget, scheduling, field supervision, and client interactions
Not required but a plus: coming up through the trades or having a carpentry background

Base salary starting at $120,000
