Job Details Key Responsibilities
Create precise 2D technical drawings in AutoCAD for CNC turning tools, threading inserts, tooling components, and other machined parts.
Verify that all designs meet dimensional tolerances, machining requirements, and quality standards.
Collaborate closely with machinists, engineers, and customers to interpret and refine design specifications.
Develop drawings to support manufacturing workflows and customer presentations for concept development and programming.
Partner with sales to accurately quote new parts based on design complexity and manufacturability.
Maintain organized drawing records and documentation on a Windows‑based server.
What We’re Looking For
Proficiency in AutoCAD (required).
SolidWorks experience or familiarity (preferred).
Strong understanding of machining tools, CNC lathes, machining centers, and metalworking processes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, thread forms, and machining tolerances.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially when working directly with customers and shop personnel.
High attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high‑quality work.
