Farmers Insurance District 11 - Illinois, Wheaton, IL, United States


You are the "face" of the District Office. Your mission is to identify, engage, and recruit high‑potential individuals who have the drive to become Farmers Insurance Agency Owners or Proteges. You’ll manage the full recruitment lifecycle—from sourcing candidates on LinkedIn to conducting initial interviews and guiding them through the Farmers appointment process. Key Responsibilities

Screening & Interviewing:

Conduct high-volume phone screens and in-person interviews to assess a candidate's financial aptitude, sales drive, and cultural fit. The "Pitch":

Effectively communicate the value proposition of the Farmers Insurance brand, including the various entry points (Retail, Service, or Protege programs). Process Management:

Guide candidates through the rigorous background check and licensing process (Property & Casualty, Life & Health). Onboarding Support:

Collaborate with the District Manager to ensure new agents have a seamless transition from "candidate" to "business owner". Branding:

Enhance the District’s local reputation through social media presence and career fairs. What We’re Looking For

The Connector:

You genuinely enjoy meeting new people and have a "hunter" mentality when it comes to finding talent. The Closer:

You know how to overcome objections and can sell the dream of entrepreneurship. Experience:

1–3 years in recruiting, insurance, or high-level sales is preferred. Communication:

Exceptional verbal and written skills. You should be as comfortable on a cold call as you are in a formal presentation. Licensing:

(Optional but a plus) Already holding a P&C or Life/Health license, or the willingness to obtain them. Base Salary:
