Radio Communications Systems Technician Boeing is currently seeking a

Radio Communications Systems Technician

to join the Radio Services Team in

Everett, WA .

This position is expected to be 100% onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair analog/digital RF (Radio Frequency) communications systems.

Perform necessary functions on hand‑held, base, and mobile communication systems that operate in frequency ranges from HF (High Frequency) to UHF (Ultra‑High Frequency) and at power levels up to five hundred watts of output.

Ensure that the communication systems meet FCC (Federal Communication Commission) standards.

Maintain logbooks on all equipment.

Travel to remote sites and perform antenna maintenance using man‑lifts and cherry‑pickers.

Provide training to business partners on all radio equipment.

When working at heights, utilize fall protection equipment that has weight limitations.

Export Control Compliance The position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet these requirements, a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required; a U.S. Person includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

Must hold a current FCC General Radio‑telephone Operator License (GROL).

Knowledge of digital electronics, microprocessors, serial/parallel bus transmission systems, high‑frequency circuitry, and analog fundamentals.

Experience in the performance of calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of measurement and test equipment, including RF and microwave measurement and test equipment.

Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

High school graduate or GED.

Electronics degree or equivalent military/vocational training.

Shift This position is for 1st shift, but the candidate must be able to work any shift assigned.

Union This is an hourly position governed by the International Association of Machinists (IAM‑751) Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Summary Pay Range:

$35.32/hour to start for new union members, with potential to earn up to $62.45/hour at max pay.
