Position Overview Green Ignite specializes in hazardous location lighting equipment for global applications and is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Marketing & Design Support team member to join us for a part-time, paid internship in conjunction with NYSERDA. This is an in-person position- no remote work will be considered.
After successfully completing the internship, a permanent part-time/full-time position will be offered to a qualified candidate. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands‑on marketing experience while contributing their design skills and social media knowledge to help grow our brand.
*We are not a marketing agency, and a successful candidate will become an integral part of our office team and will perform duties such as, but not limited to, occasionally answering phones.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing, creating, and posting content across social media platforms
Create graphics and visual content
Design marketing materials, including social media posts, promotional graphics, and digital assets
Redesigning / tweaking / updating our website
Creating / updating technical specification sheets
Updating / redesigning catalogs
Required Qualifications
Experience or familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
Creative mindset with an interest in design and visual content
Eagerness to learn and grow marketing skills
Ability to take direction and work collaboratively
This position is ideal for students, recent graduates, or anyone looking to build experience in marketing and design.
