
Loan Processor (Heloc)

Description
This position is responsible for delivering high-quality customer service to members throughout the loan process, including 1st Mortgages, Home Equity Loans, Home Equity Lines of Credit (HELOC), and Home Improvement Loans. The Mortgage Loan Processor ensures loans are processed accurately and within required timelines while maintaining open communication with members and branch personnel.
Perform initial appraisal and title review
Establish and maintain proactive communication with members, branch personnel, and internal teams regarding loan status and conditions
Order and follow up on third-party vendor documents (appraisal, title, flood certifications)
Prepare and distribute preliminary loan disclosures in compliance with federal guidelines
Prepare and distribute loan closing documents
Schedule and coordinate loan closing appointments
Proactively manage loan pipeline and workflow
Complete the loan funding process
Provide first-level escalation support
Perform additional duties as assigned
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Looking for 3 years of true processing experience of recent
Support Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) conversions
Assist with Home Improvement Loan draw conversions
Monitor HELOC expiration reporting and prepare required expiration notices
Job Type & Location Contract to Hire position based out of Richardson, TX.
Pay and Benefits Pay range: $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
