
Donor Recruitment Associate: Fixed Sites (All of MI)

Job Description

As a key player in community outreach, you will support the planning and execution of blood drives, contribute to recruitment and scheduling efforts, and help ensure successful collection operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist account managers in ensuring blood drives achieve goals through activities such as on‑site recruitment, presenting to sponsoring organizations, and managing online appointment schedules.
Provide oversight and record‑keeping in the Hemasphere and online scheduling system (OLS) to ensure proper management and tracking of sponsor group performance.
Offer organizational and operational support to blood drive coordinators to meet collection objectives and annual goals.
Schedule and implement education programs for sponsor contacts, recruitment committees, line volunteers, and volunteer tele‑recruiters within assigned groups to meet collection objectives and comply with regulations and directives.
Utilize tools, technology, and strategies provided by the organization to enhance customer service, efficiency, and productivity.
Pay Information The salary range for this position is: $58,000 - $60,000.
The salary may vary by geographic location, your specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees in the same role.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
One year of related experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales, customer maintenance techniques, negotiation skills, and program implementation is preferred.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities are required.
Must provide own transportation for business purposes and be able to work on a team.
Travel to sites throughout the Red Cross organization may be required.
Combination of education and general experience may satisfy requirements if the total years meet the minimum education and general experience requirements combined.
Physical Requirements Physical requirements are typical of a normal office environment.
Operational flexibility is needed to meet sudden and unpredictable demands.
Ability to use a personal computer, applicable software, and office equipment for extended periods.
The role may involve sitting for long periods, driving a vehicle, and working under challenging conditions.
