Senior Actuarial Analyst P&C Insurance Remote – Canada
Description We are seeking a
Senior Actuarial Analyst
to join a fast‑growing team driving actuarial pricing and risk analytics across the Property & Casualty insurance portfolio. This role is remote (Canada) and involves both
technical modeling
and
regulatory filing responsibilities .
What You’ll Do
Lead actuarial pricing studies and rate filings
Build predictive models using GLM and advanced ML (XGBoost, Lasso)
Partner with underwriting, product, and finance teams
Conduct competitor & market research to support pricing strategies
Present insights to senior leadership
What We’re Looking For
4–6+ years in P&C actuarial pricing
ASA/FSA exam completion preferred
Proficiency in R, SAS, or Python
Strong knowledge of rate filings & compliance
Excellent analytical and communication skills
