Requirements
Minimum of 3+ years experience as a Medical Collector, Patient Account Representative, or Workers’ Compensation Specialist
Proven ability to problem solve complex claims, particularly through portals, email, chat, and phone
Experience handling high-dollar claims and multiple accounts per day
Strong communication skills and soft skills for effective claim resolution
No specific educational or certification requirements
Responsibilities
Manage approximately 30 accounts daily, focusing on resolving unpaid, short-paid, partial paid, or denied claims
Utilize phone, email, portals, and chat to identify and correct claim issues
Work on complex claims such as workers’ comp, auto, and personal injury through various channels
Collaborate with team members and utilize a problem-solving approach to maximize claim payments
Maintain accurate documentation and follow up to ensure claim resolution
Contribute to team goals and support a collaborative work environment
