Job Description – Group Benefits Producer About The Role We’re looking for an experienced and licensed Health Insurance Producer to join our growing agency. In this role, you’ll sell group health plans, build lasting client relationships, and support our account management team to ensure client retention.
Responsibilities
Prospect and develop new business opportunities.
Advise clients on health insurance options and guide them through enrollment.
Maintain accurate records.
Provide ongoing support for renewals.
Qualifications
Licensed - Active Health Insurance Producer License (state-specific).
Experienced - 2+ years of health insurance sales experience.
Computer literate – Ready to use and learn technology; Familiarity with ACA guidelines and CRM tools.
Consultative – The ideal candidate will have experience as a consultant.
Multi-tasking - Ability to successfully manage different projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Organized – A critical piece of this role is the ability to stay organized, leading multiple initiatives and ensuring they are enacted in a timely, accurate, and budget-conscious manner.
Communication – The ability to speak and write in a clear and calm manner; strong negotiation skills.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
