Home Equity Product Manager

Job Description The Home Equity Product Manager is responsible for supporting the strategic direction and performance of the Home Equity line of business with a strong emphasis on data analytics, policy management, forecasting, quarterly campaign recommendations and execution.

This role uses data-driven insights to identify opportunities, improve product health, guide policy decisions, and support growth initiatives across channels. The position partners extensively with Salesforce, Credit Risk, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Technology to deliver sustainable portfolio growth while maintaining sound risk controls. The ideal candidate brings a proactive mindset, strong personal drive, and the ability to operate effectively with minimal supervision.

Data Analysis & Competitive Insights

Analyze trends including originations, credit quality, utilization, customer behavior and attributes leveraging Power BI dashboards.

Maintain excel workbooks with graphs and charts to track performance for senior leadership meetings and presentations.

Monitor competitive benchmarks, pricing movements, and market conditions to identify opportunities or emerging risks.

Diagnose performance drivers and present findings with clear, actionable recommendations.

Evaluate impacts of product, pricing, and policy changes through pre/post analytics.

Policy Management & Governance

Lead development, review, and enhancement of Home Equity credit policy and underwriting standards.

Partner with Risk, Legal, and Compliance to ensure adherence to regulatory expectations and internal governance.

Produce business cases for policy modifications supported by data analysis, risk assessment, and financial impact modeling.

Manage cross‑functional rollout of policy changes including documentation, communication, and change management.

Ensure consistent application of policy across channels and operational workflows.

Quarterly Campaign & Execution

Partner with Marketing and Channel teams to design and execute quarterly Home Equity campaigns aimed at acquisition, utilization, and/or cross‑sell.

Identify target segments using portfolio analytics and customer insights.

Define success metrics, develop test‑and‑learn strategies, and measure campaign performance.

Provide insights and recommendations to optimize future campaigns.

Forecasting & Strategic Planning

Develop the annual business plan for all regions, segments and channels to meet growth objectives.

Complete quarterly reforecasting based on actual performance data to provide insights, recommendations and resourcing needs.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.

5+ years of experience in consumer lending or product management (Home Equity preferred).

Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.

Solid understanding of credit risk principles, consumer lending policies, and forecasting methodologies.

Ability to turn complex data into clear, compelling insights for diverse audiences.

Strong communication, cross‑functional partnership, and presentation skills.

Salary $74,000.00 - $138,000.00

Pay Type Salaried
