The Strategic Partner Growth Manager (Mexico) is a remote, work‑from‑home position at Acceleration Partners. Candidates must reside in the US or Mexico. Some travel is required for client meetings or internal meetings and conferences. Candidates must hold a valid passport, be able to travel internationally, and speak fluent Spanish.

Role Acceleration Partners is accepting applications for an exciting new role that will sit in our Strategic Partner Development Department. We are seeking an experienced Strategic Partnership Development Manager with business development/account management experience to support the growth of this department and have a key focus in the Mexico/LATAM affiliate space. The person will join client calls to pitch high‑value opportunities, provide strategic insights, track progress to goals, and proactively manage the top 10 partners for their respective clients. A "how‑not‑if" mentality, an action‑oriented approach, and effective questioning will be critical.
Top 5 Job Responsibilities
Publisher Performance: Contribute to overall revenue goal for the Growth & Partnerships department by creating high‑potential relationships and optimizing publishers, including paid placements, commission increases, and review products.
Performance and Placement Trackers: Consistently update the department relationship tracker with details on the partnerships facilitated and update the client‑approved placement tracker.
Subject Matter Expert in Client Verticals and Partner Relationships: Act as a trusted, knowledgeable resource and proactively lead conversations to lend expertise across the organization.
Business Development and Publisher Relationships
Proactive Research: Identify new, high‑quality partnerships and/or areas of opportunity based on client needs, industry evolution, and SimilarWeb.
Written and Verbal Communication: Comfortable with cold emailing; communications are clear, informative, and engaging. Ask relevant questions when speaking to publishers to vet opportunities and manage day‑to‑day communication with top publishers in program.
Initiative: Proven track record of identifying and executing opportunities and optimization across program to drive revenue growth.
Top 10 Partner Management
Relationship Management: Optimize opportunities with top publishers on behalf of the client. View yourself as an extension of the client’s business and develop long‑lasting relationships.
Budget Management: Identify opportunities that drive client growth while maintaining a healthy return on investment.
Time Management: Exceptional calendar and time‑management skills required.
Strategy and Execution
Alignment to Client Strategy and Goals: Participate in engagement kickoff call with client and ongoing calls as needed; ask appropriate questions and understand client goals and KPIs.
Creation and Ongoing Ownership of Strategy: Create plans for recruitment and/or paid placement initiatives that support the client’s program, with expected timeline, negotiate terms, set up campaigns, and coordinate communication with partners. Manage 95% of strategy independently.
Strategy Pivots: Adapt to change, pivot strategies to reach client goals, set expectations, and project new goals when not achievable. Communicate and push back when goals are unrealistic without damaging relationships.
Pitching Opportunities
Persuasiveness: Consistently demonstrate intellectual curiosity, challenge the status quo, and pitch innovative opportunities. Showcase the "why" and benefits for the partner and client based on data.
Publisher Vertical and Client Knowledge: High level of knowledge across publisher verticals; proven track record of addressing client questions and identifying opportunities.
Tenacity: Overcome objections, provide alternatives, and emphasize value.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills
Knowledge of the Mexican digital market.
Fluency in Spanish.
4+ years of business development or relevant work experience (including account management, contract negotiations, marketing).
Experience in a sales or account management role with enterprise clients.
Proven track record of reaching and exceeding goals.
Experience in business development.
Experience in performance marketing (particularly affiliate marketing) preferred.
Effective communication and negotiation skills; able to push back without damaging relationships.
Successful record in a goal‑oriented, high‑accountability, fast‑paced environment.
Comfortable leading client‑facing presentations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working from home and in a corporate office (a plus).
