We are looking for a
Social Insights Analyst
to bridge the gap between raw social data and actionable marketing strategy. This role goes beyond reporting; you will be a strategic partner, translating complex social signals into clear business intelligence that informs how our client engages with millions of music fans, artists, and creators globally.
Responsibilities
Turn Social Signals into Business Intelligence: Lead complex analysis to answer high‑value strategic questions, distinguishing general cultural enthusiasm from true brand‑specific equity.
Embed Insights into Strategy: Participate in content reviews and planning sessions to ensure data directly informs messaging, audience segmentation, creator activations, and campaign optimizations.
Build Predictive Models: Establish sentiment and conversation baselines that inform annual strategies and develop frameworks to identify emerging themes and cultural shifts before they hit the mainstream.
Executive Reporting & Visualization: Design executive‑ready dashboards and concise narratives for senior leadership, distilling complex platform data into clear recommendations.
Collaborate Cross‑Functionally: Act as a key partner to Brand Marketing, Communications, Paid Media, and Consumer Insights, ensuring a specialized social lens is applied to broader business goals.
Manual Deep‑Dives: Perform granular analysis that automated tools miss, such as weighing the sentiment of specific comment threads versus total volume.
Qualifications
Analytically Rigorous:
Deep fluency in social platforms and digital culture, going beyond number reporting to interpret meaning.
Culturally Fluent:
Live and breathe music, entertainment, and internet culture; understand the “why” behind performance spikes for major global artists and creators.
A Storyteller:
Translate ambiguity into clarity, building narratives that resonate with junior teams and C‑suite executives.
Discreet & Precise:
Comfortable handling confidential information and brand‑sensitive reporting with the highest level of professional discretion.
7‑10+ years in social analytics, brand intelligence, marketing analytics, or consumer insights.
Technical Mastery:
Deep experience with social platform business suites (Meta, X, TikTok, etc.) and an understanding of API limitations.
Tool Proficiency:
Expertise in social listening tools such as Brandwatch, Listen First, Sprinklr, or Sprout Social.
Statistical Expertise:
Proven ability to build analytical frameworks and set up complex experiments to measure brand sentiment.
Preferred
Experience in music, entertainment, tech, or subscription‑based industries.
Experience embedding directly within brand or creative teams.
Background in measuring consumer trust or subscription behavior.
Advanced data visualization skills.
Definition of Success
Success means moving beyond “what” to “why.” You will have succeeded when you can look at a viral moment and accurately determine if it moved the needle for specific brand equity or merely generated engagement for an individual creator or artist. You are the bridge that connects raw data to a smarter, faster, and more creative marketing organization.
Equal Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.
If you require a reasonable accommodation to make your application or interview experience a great one, please contact HRsupport@randstadusa.com.
This posting is open for thirty (30) days.
