Location: Remote (must be U.S. based)
6 months contract, 40 hours per week
Digital People is looking for an Email Designer to support our global client's Lifecycle Marketing team in creating high-quality, conversion-focused email campaigns for an employer-facing platform used by millions of businesses worldwide. This role focuses on designing scalable, on-brand email experiences that drive engagement, retention, and revenue across the employer journey.
You will work within an established email design system to produce polished, consistent designs while collaborating closely with marketing and product partners. This role sits at the intersection of design execution and lifecycle strategy, enabling faster iteration, stronger experimentation, and better outcomes for customers.
Responsibilities:
Design and deliver email campaigns using pre-built components from an established email design system
Apply consistent messaging frameworks across lifecycle touchpoints, including upsell and retention campaigns
Produce on-brand, high-quality email designs that follow established patterns and best practices
Partner with Lifecycle Marketing and Product stakeholders to understand campaign goals, audience segments, and messaging priorities
Support rapid iteration and A/B testing by producing multiple design variants efficiently
Maintain visual and interaction consistency across email communications
Contribute to a cohesive experience across email and in-product touchpoints
Qualifications: Required
2 to 5 years of experience in UX, product, or visual or communication design, or equivalent practical experience
Strong portfolio showcasing email design or digital marketing design work
Proficiency with Figma or similar tools and experience working within design systems
Ability to produce production-ready designs with strong attention to detail and brand consistency
Solid understanding of email design standards, including responsive layouts and rendering constraints
Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and experience collaborating across distributed teams
Preferred:
Experience working with email design systems or component-based email frameworks
Familiarity with conversion-focused lifecycle marketing strategies such as upsell campaigns and retention flows
Understanding of accessibility best practices in email design
Experience working with lifecycle, CRM, or growth marketing teams
Background in B2B or employer-focused product environments
