Job Description As a Salesforce Developer, you will develop and implement solutions for an existing and evolving Salesforce environment. This includes utilizing Visualforce, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Pardot, CPQ, Community, and Force.com platform. The role requires significant overlap of system understanding and configuration/customization options, including Salesforce, JIRA, CTI, etc.
Essential Functions
Facilitate the testing and implementation of Salesforce and JIRA customizations, applications, and tools, including coding, configuration, maintenance, installation, testing, debugging, managing timelines, and producing technical documentation.
Perform reviews of the data, develop complex CRM solutions, discuss trade‑offs with teams, and map functional requirements to Salesforce functionality.
Design and develop Salesforce solutions for Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Pardot, CPQ.
Develop and customize applications using Apex classes, Visualforce, Force.com, workflows, SOQL, API and Web Services.
Utilize JavaScript, SOAP, API, HTML5, CSS and Web Services in the development of Salesforce and JIRA solutions.
Integrate data between web‑based/SaaS using data integration tools.
Participate in project planning sessions with stakeholders to analyze technical needs and outline technical requirements and solutions.
Provide comprehensive technical support during the application life cycle from design to development, testing, and implementation.
Adhere to agile methodology, continuous integration, test‑driven development, and agile productivity tools.
Required Skills/Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience.
Four to six years of progressively responsible experience in Salesforce Lightning utilizing Visualforce, Apex, Force.com, workflows, API, Web Services, and data integration tools.
Certification as a Salesforce Platform Developer I and Salesforce Advanced Administrator or equivalent experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of Salesforce platforms, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, CPQ, Billing and Pardot.
Knowledge of business processes and IT project delivery methodologies such as SDLC, agile methodology, continuous integration.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage unexpected requests.
Build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
Action oriented: sense of urgency, high energy, enthusiasm.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate with stakeholders at multiple levels.
Preferred Skills/Experience
Knowledge of Internet and security technologies to integrate data between systems and applications.
Experience developing applications with knowledge of Salesforce App Cloud, Lightning, and Mobile Application Platforms.
Experience using and configuring JIRA and connecting to Salesforce.
Certification as a Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder and/or Salesforce Platform Developer II.
