Skamania Lodge is a Pacific Northwest resort set on 175 acres, featuring treehouses, glamping, golf, ziplining, a spa and multiple restaurants. With over 22,000 sq. ft. of event space it’s a premier destination for retreats, conferences and celebrations.

What You Will Be Doing

Strategy & Brand Management

Develop and execute annual and seasonal marketing plans aligned with occupancy, ADR and revenue goals

Maintain brand voice, visual identity and messaging across all guest touchpoints

Position the property within competitive sets and destination markets

Digital Marketing & Website

Oversee website content and updates to drive bookings and conversions

Manage vendors (with DOSM and DORM) for SEO/GEO, paid search, display and retargeting campaigns

Analyze website performance, booking paths, AI effectiveness and conversion rates

Collaborate with the DORM to create impactful booking campaigns

Design multi‑channel campaigns and promotional calendars

Email & CRM Marketing

Plan and execute email campaigns for promotions, events, packages and loyalty guests

Segment guest databases and define target audiences, messaging and timing

Optimize subject lines, content, cadence and performance metrics

Analyze results and refine future campaigns

Social Media & Content

Develop social media strategy and content calendars

Lead photo/video shoots showcasing rooms, dining, spa and experiences

Monitor engagement and manage community interactions

Evaluate platform performance and content ROI

Promotions, Packages & Campaigns

Partner with revenue management to develop packages and offers

Promote seasonal experiences, wellness programming, dining events and holidays

Track campaign ROI and adjust strategies accordingly

Public Relations & Partnerships

Coordinate PR initiatives, media outreach and press stays

Build relationships with tourism boards, chambers and local partners

Manage influencer collaborations and agency relationships

On‑Property Marketing

Collaborate with design partners to produce guest‑facing collateral (signage, menus, programming guides, digital displays)

Ensure brand consistency across all departments

Support internal teams with marketing materials

Reputation & Review Management

Monitor and respond to online reviews

Analyze guest feedback to inform marketing and operational improvements

Partner with operations to address recurring concerns

Data, Reporting & Budget

Track KPIs including campaign performance, engagement and ROI

Manage budgets, vendor contracts and timelines

Produce regular reports with insights and recommendations

What are we looking for?

Proven experience in a marketing management role, preferably within hospitality or lifestyle brands

Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate insights into actionable marketing plans

Expertise in digital marketing, including website optimization, paid media, SEO and CRM/email marketing

Experience managing agencies, vendors and cross‑functional teams

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and optimise performance

Experience with content creation, social media strategy and brand storytelling

Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines and priorities effectively

Strong communication and organisational skills

Preferred

Experience in events and experiential marketing (retreats, weddings, group programmes)

Familiarity with hospitality marketing metrics (occupancy, ADR, RevPAR)

Experience supporting on‑site activations and guest programming
