The Position We’re looking for an Account Manager who would enjoy working for a company that makes a difference in the geriatric population’s lives across the nation. The primary function of this position is to provide excellent customer service, retain existing accounts, and sell insurance.

Key Responsibilities

Retain existing facilities: sustain rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits at least once per quarter, exploring specific needs, and anticipating new opportunities.

Achieve marketing and sales objectives: contribute marketing and sales information to strategic plans, prepare and complete action plans, implement quality and customer‑service standards, resolve problems, complete audits, identify trends, and implement system improvements.

Identify marketing opportunities: understand consumer requirements, define market and competitor shares and strengths, forecast projected business, and establish targeted market share.

Accomplish organization goals: accept ownership of new requests and explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Maintain promotional materials: coordinate requirements with marketing, inventory stock, place orders, and verify receipt.

Plan meetings and attend trade shows.

Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

Location The Account Manager position is a remote role that includes a combination of field days and home‑office days. This role REQUIRES overnight travel and the individual MUST reside within the territory.

Requirements

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

3‑5 years of previous applicable experience.

Preferred prior work experience within senior living communities, sales, and life/health insurance.

Ability to obtain health and life insurance license.

Reliable transportation.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Other Qualifications

Preferred skills: experience using Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Problem‑solving skills: strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify problems and develop innovative solutions.

Customer service: respond promptly to requests for assistance and strive to continually improve service.

Planning/organizing: manage multiple tasks to ensure assignments are completed in a timely and productive manner.

Quality control/attention to detail: demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; monitor own work to ensure quality and apply feedback to improve performance.

Adaptability: adapt to changes in the work environment and handle frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.

Dependability: consistently on time, follow instructions, take responsibility for own actions, and respond to management direction.

Efficiency: visit the required number of weekly visits in a timely manner without sacrificing quality.

Teamwork: work effectively in a team environment.

Communication: strong written and verbal communication skills.

Educate facility staff on

Currently possess a life/health insurance license or the ability to complete the licensing course and exam.

Territory management: plan weekly travel throughout the state to meet nursing home staff and residents.

Daily travel with potential for 75% overnight stay.
