Champro is seeking a hands-on, commercially-driven Marketing Director to lead the evolution of our brand from a B2B, product-led business to a team athlete-driven performance brand. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this role will define the brand, connect product to market, and drive demand across a complex multi-channel ecosystem—including team dealers, Amazon, key retail partners, and ecommerce. This is a player-coach role, combining strategic leadership with hands‑on execution. The Marketing Director will align Marketing, Product, and Sales around a clear brand vision and ensure consistent, premium execution across every touchpoint. Key Responsibilities:
1. Brand Strategy & Consumer Positioning
Define and lead Champro’s brand positioning, targeting athletes while supporting B2B decision makers (coaches, ADs, dealers) Translate insights into a clear, differentiated brand narrative that drives athlete preference
Establish brand voice, messaging architecture, and storytelling frameworks
Lead the shift from product/spec marketing to team athlete-first storytelling 2. Product Marketing & Go‑To‑Market
Own product positioning and category narratives across apparel and equipment Partner with Product to bring the Good/Better/Best strategies to life
Lead go‑to‑market strategy for seasonal launches across Marketing, Sales, and Product Develop sales tools that shift conversations from price to brand and demand
3. Multi‑Channel Marketing Leadership (B2B & B2C)
Lead integrated marketing strategies across team dealers, Amazon, retail partners (e.g. DSG), and ecommerce
Drive programs that support both sell‑in and sell‑through Ensure consistent brand execution across all channels and environments
4. Content & Brand Activation
Define creative direction and athlete‑first storytelling approach Oversee social, athlete/team storytelling, and product‑in‑use content
Partner with Sports Marketing and design to activate partnerships into meaningful brand moments
5. Team Leadership & Organizational Alignment
Lead and develop a high‑performing marketing team (content, design, social, sports marketing) Establish clear priorities, workflows, and accountability
Partner closely with Product, Sales, and Digital to ensure alignment across all touchpoints 6. Performance & Growth
Own key KPIs: brand awareness, engagement, channel performance, and contribution to revenue
Use data to optimize campaigns, messaging, and channel strategy
Balance short‑term performance with long‑term brand building

Qualifications:
Required Experience
8–12+ years of marketing experience with progressive leadership Experience in sporting goods, team sports, apparel, or related industries preferred
Proven success across both B2B and B2C marketing
Core Capabilities
Player‑coach mindset: strategic and hands on Strong brand‑building and commercial instincts
Deep understanding of product marketing and go‑to‑market strategy Ability to operate in a fast‑paced, resource‑conscious environment
Strong cross‑functional leadership and communication skills
