The Associate of Sales Operations supports high‑impact business operations at Wonderful Pistachios & Almonds, serving as a key liaison across Sales, Finance, Customer Service, and E‑commerce teams. Focused on C‑Store, E‑commerce, Specialty, and Value channels, this role drives promotional alignment, vendor accuracy, and data integrity initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, proactive, and thrives in collaborative, fast‑paced environments. This position will be based at our West Los Angeles, CA office. We work a hybrid schedule with an in‑office requirement Monday‑Wednesday and the option to work remotely Thursday and Friday.

Promotional & Sales Trade Operations

Manage the full promotional deal lifecycle in Demantra—including entry, updates, and maintenance—across C‑store, Amazon, and other retail channels; partner with sales, finance, trade, and customer service teams to process adjustments

Partner with WP Sales Leadership and the FIJI Sales team in monthly business reviews to monitor C‑store trade spend performance, ensure promotional accuracy, and drive financial alignment

Support the annual promotional planning process in collaboration with the Trade Management team, ensuring account plans are accurately reflected in TPM systems to enable effective trade budget tracking, reporting, and optimization

Manage C‑store promotional financial operations, including claim investigations, weekly check requests, and checkbook maintenance to ensure accurate reporting and timely customer payments

Monitor and track weekly customer freight costs

Data, Systems & Compliance

Partner with the Data Management team to maintain vendor records and set up new vendors across retail channels

Provide administrative support for data synchronization platforms, ensuring compliance with customer and industry data standards

Maintain Sprout Retail item data in coordination with the sales team

Support sales teams with new item setup, price changes, and product maintenance requests

Assist with customer portal updates to ensure accurate and up‑to‑date information

Participate in bi‑weekly Demantra IT meetings, providing feedback, supporting user testing and troubleshooting, and contributing to system enhancements

Cross‑Functional & Operations Support

Support trade show logistics, including sample ordering, RESCO orders, and VTS order input

Execute ad hoc projects, reporting, and support requests for The Wonderful Company and its subsidiaries

Contribute to departmental and sister‑company process improvement initiatives and assist in developing SOPs

Attend trade shows or offsite meetings as required

Miscellaneous / Other

Continuous improvement projects

Support WOW project methods as needed

Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in a CPG company within sales operations, trade planning, demand planning, or a related analytical role

CPG or retail experience preferred

Advanced Excel expertise (XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, IF/IFS, PivotTables/Charts, and automation techniques)

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with experience working with large, complex datasets

Experience with Oracle and Demantra is a plus

Pay Range: $80,000 - $90,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
