Position Summary Under the direction of the Division Manager, the Account Executive is responsible for driving new business growth while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers. This role focuses on meeting sales and profit objectives through proactive account management, estimating, and contract negotiations.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management
Build, maintain, and grow relationships with existing and prospective customers.
New Business Development
Identify, develop, and generate new business opportunities. Prepare project estimates, obtain bid bonds as required, and negotiate contracts.
Evaluate incoming repair requests, prioritize appropriately, and deliver accurate quotes in a timely manner.
Preventive Maintenance Sales
Develop and present preventive maintenance proposals tailored to customer needs.
Industry & Product Knowledge
Stay current with vendor equipment updates, product enhancements, and industry trends.
Participate in post‑project reviews and postmortems as requested to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience:
5 years of relevant industry experience preferred
Licenses:
Valid Driver’s License
Physical Requirements:
Ability to move throughout office and construction environments
Ability to climb and use a ladder as needed
