Role and Responsibilities
The Sales Administrator is responsible for supporting the Catering Sales Manager in developing business and coordinating catering events. The Sales Administrator will assist in client communications, event preparation, and administrative tasks while maintaining the highest level of customer service.
Provide timely and professional responses to client inquiries and requests.
Assist in maintaining a positive, friendly, and professional manner in all interactions with clients, team members, and industry vendors.
Support the preparation of proposals and event orders, ensuring attention to detail.
Assist in managing client communication throughout the sales process.
Help prepare billing and post-event documentation as needed.
Support the organization of meetings, calls, and follow-ups for client interactions.
Maintain records of client interactions and event details.
Assist in maintaining marketing materials, event calendars, and client databases.
Help coordinate the logistics of events, including documentation and inventory preparation.
Support the team by handling general administrative duties, such as filing, data entry, front desk responsibilities and scheduling.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred
Previous experience in customer service, sales support, or event planning is a plus.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proven capability and desire to provide an exceptional level of service to clients and team members.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Suite.
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business demands including nights and weekends
Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
