Description Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintenance on all ornamental plantings, e.g., fertilizing, watering, and pruning
Installation of plant material
Spray/record all chemicals
Maintain mulch/pine straw areas
Operate construction equipment (e.g., loader/backhoe)
Supervise crew as required
Safety Requirements
Perform job responsibilities and operate equipment in accordance with the company safety and training programs
Use personal protective equipment as trained and required
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Report safety or hazard concerns to management
Report any on‑job injury to management
Takes personal responsibility for safety each day
Qualifications
Previous experience in landscape maintenance or landscape installation required
Knowledge of plant material
Physically able to bend, stretch, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods
Must be able to perform outdoor physical labor in varying weather conditions
