Position Overview The Print Technician will be responsible for the printer operations of our large format Digital Printer and Cutter. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Running and Maintaining Print equipment and color management, with the ability to fabricate high-quality printed materials. This is a rapidly expanding and growing graphics department with an opportunity for future advancement within the company.
Key Responsibilities for the Print Technician:
Operate and Maintain High Quality, Wide Format, Digital Printing Equipment.
Follow production schedules to ensure deadlines are met
Review Job Orders to ensure the right material is on-hand
Ability to Perform vinyl prep tasks such as weeding, masking, and mounting graphics to substrates like foam board, acrylic, and coroplast.
Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications:
High School diploma/GED
Previous experience in digital printing is required
Strong Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
In-depth Understanding of Printing Technologies and Color Management
Creativity, Problem solving & forward-thinking skills
Ability to Conduct routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
Experience with EFI Vutek Large Format Printer and Zund Cutting Technology preferred.
