Position Purpose: The Retail Media Sr. Product Strategist will play a critical role in advancing The Home Depot’s advertising business through the development of new and emerging retail media opportunities. This role will support go-to-market strategy development and partner closely with the Manager to evolve the Retail Media roadmap in response to market dynamics, innovation, and advertiser needs.
The position is responsible for owning competitor and industry research, translating insights into strategic recommendations that fuel sustainable growth. A key performance indicator for success includes the ability to pivot between technical skills and soft skills. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of product development, media buying, media industry trends, and collaborative methodologies to optimize product effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
25% New Business Opportunities – Identify potential new business opportunities via review of competitive benchmarks, internal data, vendor feedback, and internal stakeholder feedback
25% Offering Development – Track offering development across IT, Analytics, MarTech, and other internal stakeholders
35% Define Requirements – Strategically define business requirements, process maps, and offering documentation for new opportunities; Collaborate with Sr. Manager of Product Strategy to sequence opportunities on roadmap
15% GTM and Sales Enablement – Collaborate with GTM and Communications teams to translate products into clear, compelling internal and external materials that articulate the value of offerings for advertisers and empower internal teams.

Travel Requirements:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Agency or brand marketing experience
Previous experience with retail websites, ecommerce and analytics
Marketing/ad tech experience is highly desirable
Product management or marketing experience is highly desirable
Highly collaborative team player who is focused, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to adapt to changing priorities and tight timelines
Ability to work with other team members in either a support or leadership role
Influential; practiced in negotiating with others in ways that result in win-win outcomes
Familiarity with analytics, advertising data/tech
Strong business planning and problem-solving skills
Must be adept in Excel and Power Point
Manage multiple projects at the same time
