Summary The Freight Forwarder, Ocean Export is responsible for overseeing the export of goods via ocean transport. This position ensures that export processes are executed in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective manner.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure that export processes are executed in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective manner
Coordinate with internal teams, such as logistics and customer service, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods
Maintain relationships with customers and partners
Analyze market trends and identify areas for process improvement
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws
Oversee documentation for export shipments
Educational background / Work experience
Familiarity with export regulations, customs clearance procedures, and industry best practices.
Skills & Competencies
Proficient in using computer software programs related to logistics and supply chain management.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with ocean freight regulations, customs requirements, and export controls
Knowledge of shipping routes and schedules
Language skills
Fluency in English is required
Knowledge of additional languages is a plus
Computer Literacy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with logistics software and systems is required

Compensation Expected base pay range:
$22.50

$30.50 per hour.
Actual compensation will be determined based on job‑related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location.
