About the Role We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) based in Austin, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on hunting for new business opportunities in the B2B Tech SaaS sector. This role requires a proactive approach and a bias for action, as you will be working in a fast-paced start-up environment.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including Hubspot and LinkedIn.

Focus on both inbound and outbound leads to maximize sales opportunities.

Work closely with the Go-To-Market (GTM) team to develop and execute effective sales campaigns.

Engage with potential clients to understand their needs and present suitable solutions.

Maintain a proven sales track record by successfully closing deals and managing a sales pipeline.

Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for lead generation and conversion.

Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress in the CRM system.

Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall sales strategy.

Qualifications

Proven experience in business development, preferably in the B2B Tech SaaS industry.

Proficiency in using Hubspot and LinkedIn for lead generation and management.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven success in closing deals and managing a sales pipeline.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Comfortable in a fast-paced start-up environment and willing to get hands dirty.

Preferred Skills

Experience in the HRTech sector is a nice-to-have.

Familiarity with working in a complex tech ecosystem is also a nice-to-have.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development or sales roles.
