FL Elite Baseball is a nationally ranked baseball organization located in Palm Beach County Florida working with kids 8U-18U and also including our collegiate team in the collegiate league of the palm beaches. Dedicated to developing elite student-athletes while providing fans with engaging and memorable baseball experiences. We are seeking a motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator / Content Creator Intern to join our team and help amplify our league’s presence across multiple digital platforms.

Position Summary: The Social Media Coordinator / Content Creator Intern will play a key role in driving engagement, growing our fan base, and creating compelling content that highlights our players, teams, and league events. This internship offers hands-on experience in content creation, digital marketing, podcast production, and athlete/media interviews.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and update the league’s social media accounts (Instagram, Twitter/X, TikTok, Facebook, etc.) with engaging content.

Develop creative content strategies to increase fan engagement and brand awareness.

Produce high-quality multimedia content, including graphics, photos, videos, and reels.

Conduct interviews with players, coaches, and staff for social media, podcasts, and league features.

Assist in the production and editing of league podcasts, including scripting, recording, and post-production.

Collaborate with league staff to cover live games, events, and special promotions.

Monitor social media metrics and provide insights to improve performance.

Maintain a content calendar and schedule posts across all platforms.

Support other marketing initiatives, including email campaigns, newsletters, and fan engagement campaigns.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, Journalism, or related field.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in social media platforms and content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, iMovie, etc.).

Experience with video production, photography, or podcasting preferred.

Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Passion for baseball and sports media is highly desirable.

Learning Outcomes:

Hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing in a sports organization.

Exposure to athlete relations, interviews, and behind-the-scenes league operations.

Practical experience producing and editing multimedia content, including podcasts.

Professional development in sports media, communications, and marketing strategy.
