About our Role We are looking for an APAC Salesforce Specialist who is more than a system administrator.
This role is for someone who:
Challenges thinking, not just fulfils requests
Gets out from behind the laptop and engages directly with sales teams
Learns how the business operates and uses that insight to guide decisions
Helps determine what we should and shouldn’t be doing to support sales effectiveness
Reporting to our Global Salesforce Manager (based in our HQ in Boise, Idaho), you will act as a trusted commercial partner to APAC sales teams, balancing day to day Salesforce support with strong judgement, influence, and continuous improvement across markets at different stages of Salesforce maturity.
This role works closely with sales, IT, and global stakeholders and requires comfort operating across time zones, cultures, and ways of working.
What you will do You will be most successful if you:
Spend time talking to sales teams about how they use Salesforce day to day
Ask questions, observe, listen, and build credibility with the frontline
Challenge requests that don’t align to global commercial outcomes or adoption
Design solutions based on real sales process, not assumptions or theory
Success in this role ultimately comes from proactive involvement and strong, day-to-day interaction with sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary Salesforce contact for APAC commercial teams
Provide hands on operational support (user onboarding, access, troubleshooting)
Partner with sales teams to improve adoption, usability, and efficiency
Push back on low value or misaligned requests and help prioritise what matters
Translate business needs into clear briefs for IT and global tech teams
Support data integrity, governance, and reporting accuracy
Deliver dashboards and insights that support commercial decision making
Monitor usage and adoption across regions with varying Salesforce maturity
Develop training, documentation, and practical enablement resources
Collaborate globally, with flexibility to support different time zones and occasional travel
About You
Experience supporting Salesforce or strong sales/sales ops experience with CRM exposure
A genuine understanding of how sales teams operate in practice
Confidence engaging with – and pushing back on – stakeholders
A pragmatic, commercial mindset (not everything needs to be built or automated!)
Strong communication skills and an engaging, approachable style
Experience working across regions or global teams
Comfort working flexibly and autonomously with a remote leader
A background in Sales, sales operations, commercial systems, CRM administration, or a technically minded sales role will be highly regarded.
A background in an FMCG organization would also be beneficial.
You will thrive in this role if you:
Enjoy being visible and engaged with sales teams
Like learning the detail of how the business really works
Are comfortable challenging thinking and influencing decisions
Prefer impact and outcomes over activity and process
If this sounds like you, then please apply online now.
Applications close Friday 10th April 2026. Simplot reserves the right to commence recruiting activity prior to closing date.
Job Requisition ID: 25059
Travel Required: Less than 10%
