Company Description Rise Up Home is a full-service interior design studio based in Campbell, CA, specializing in high-end residential projects across the San Francisco Bay Area . Our boutique model gives designers the rare opportunity to make a real creative impact at every stage — from concept through construction — while delivering an exceptional client experience.
We're looking for a creative, technically strong designer to work closely with our Principal Designer across all project phases. If you thrive in a collaborative, client-focused environment and are looking to grow your craft long-term, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)
Support the Principal Designer across all phases of residential projects, from schematic design and concept development through procurement and installation
Develop space plans, CAD drawings, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, and 3D renderings to communicate and execute design intent
Source materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with the design vision and budget; coordinate vendor meetings and pick up samples as needed
Prepare and maintain design documentation including mood boards, FFE schedules, paint schedules, and client proposals for Principal Designer review
Track order statuses, manage delivery schedules, and update the procurement dashboard in ClickUp to keep projects on time
Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure project milestones are met; flag issues proactively with solutions before escalating
Assist on install and photo shoot days to ensure the final space is executed to design intent and presented to the highest standard
About You
3–5+ years of professional residential interior design experience
Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (AAS or higher)
Strong working knowledge of kitchens, bathrooms, and residential construction details
Based in the Bay Area with reliable transportation for site visits
Proven ability to produce technical drawings, renderings, and space plans
Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, ClickUp, Google Suite, and Canva
A self-starter who works equally well independently and collaboratively
Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills with a sharp eye for detail and strong time management
High emotional intelligence — open to feedback, coachable, and able to stay calm and solution-focused under pressure
A creative problem solver who sees challenges as opportunities
Salary Range:
$65,000 to $72,000
Hours:
40 hrs/week, flexible
Location:
Hybrid ( San Francisco Bay Area Only)
