Content Manager III
This is a 6-month, full-time (40 hours/week), remote contract role (must work PST hours) located in Austin, TX.
Summary This role supports high-visibility internal publishing initiatives by managing and optimizing content across multiple platforms. You will ensure timely delivery, uphold brand standards, and drive scalable audience management processes that enhance internal engagement and communication effectiveness.
Our Ideal Candidate
5-7 years of experience in content management, preferably at a global scale
Passion for digital content and operations with a strong foundation in content systems, publishing workflows, and optimization
Proficient in content management systems and familiar with HTML, XML, and CSS, with strong organizational and project management skills
Familiar with audience management tools, localization workflows, and multi-platform publishing environments
Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams including program managers, producers, creatives, engineers, and localization partners
Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, and stakeholder needs
Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail
Analytical, proactive, and solution-oriented with a high level of ownership and accountability
Job Description In this role, you will manage and optimize content across internal engagement and marketing platforms, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to brand standards.
You’ll partner with cross-functional teams including program managers, producers, localization, engineering, and creative teams to coordinate content delivery, audience targeting, and publishing workflows. This includes overseeing audience management processes, managing asset delivery timelines, supporting localization efforts, and validating content across platforms.
You will also lead documentation, training, and process improvements related to audience management and content workflows, while identifying opportunities to streamline operations and enhance cross-team understanding. Additionally, you will support project launch planning, oversee go-live execution, monitor content performance, and contribute to post-release analysis to continuously improve processes and outcomes.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Library Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Background in content management, digital publishing, or marketing operations
Library science experience or exposure to structured content systems preferred
Additional Requirements
This opportunity is remote and requires working PST hours
The pay for this W-2 position is $60.39 per hour
This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements
