This is a full-time, on-site position based in Fresno, CA, for a talented and organized Producer. The Producer is responsible for creating and managing engaging, audience-focused newscasts. Daily responsibilities include writing scripts, selecting video and sound elements, coordinating with anchors, reporters, and editors, and overseeing live broadcasts. The Producer will also be expected to monitor breaking news, update social media platforms, and collaborate with the editorial team to ensure accurate and compelling content. Qualifications

Strong skills in writing, editing, and headline creation for broadcast and digital platforms Experience in news production and scriptwriting, with knowledge of newsroom software and workflows Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines Proficiency with social media platforms and engaging digital audiences Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment Understanding of FCC regulations and media ethics Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field Preferred: Prior experience in local TV news production
