Job Description MS NOW is seeking a Coordinating Producer to help build and define premium digital video. This role will be central to developing original, talent-driven video for social platforms and for our paid members. Your social videos will hook new audiences and invite them toward richer experiences in our paid app, driving subscriber growth.

The ideal candidate is an expert editor of short form vertical video with experience in longer form content, a sharp journalist with strong research skills, and a proactive creative partner to on-air talent. This producer understands how to build recurring premium formats, experiment with longer-form pilots, and create a seamless funnel from social to subscriber-only experiences. A background in live streaming is also essential.

This role is ideal for a producer who understands the power of digitally native vertical video to engage premium audiences.

This position is represented by the Writers Guild of America East.

Responsibilities:

Produce short-form vertical content that perform strongly on external social platforms, and serves as an entry point to the DTC product

Conceptualize edits and original pieces that tease premium extensions available only to subscribers

Develop, produce, and edit daily premium content that's turned around fast

Partner closely with show digital producers and talent to ideate and execute distinctive, high-value formats that extend their on-air presence into a more intimate, direct experience for paid subscribers

Build scalable franchises designed for sustained subscribe engagement and retention

Create formats that prioritize subscriber interaction, including live streams, Q&As and live chats

Develop live formats (town halls, breakdowns, post-show debriefs)

Integrate MS NOW special events, live events, speaking engagements, into premium members only experiences

Partner with show digital producers to generate original ideas tailored to specific MS NOW talent voices and strengths

Qualifications

5+ years producing original news and politics digital video for vertical platforms and YouTube

Advanced editing skills (Adobe Premiere)

Experience working with talent and coaching talent in authentic delivery

Deep familiarity with social platforms, YouTube strategy, and premium content ecosystems

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced news cycle

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Additional Job Requirements:

Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.

Must be willing to work in New York City

Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, under tight deadline pressure, including breaking news

Salary Range:$115,000 – $150,000
