Graphic Designer
Motier Lafayette, Lafayette, LA, United States
Motier is looking for a designer who understands more than just design. This role is about building a brand, shaping product, and creating work that people actually feel the moment they see it.
We are not looking for someone to simply make graphics. We are looking for someone who can think, create, and execute at a high level across apparel, marketing, and brand identity. The right candidate has a sharp eye, strong taste, and a portfolio that reflects real originality, not template driven work.
This role can be structured as contract or full time and may be remote or in person depending on the right fit.
What You’ll Do
Design graphics for apparel including tees, hoodies, hats, and seasonal collections
Create visual assets for social media, campaigns, and in store experiences
Develop logos, typography systems, and original artwork that align with the Motier identity
Prepare production ready files for print, embroidery, and manufacturing
Work closely with the team to keep visual language consistent across product and marketing
Contribute ideas for collections, concepts, and overall creative direction
What We’re Looking For
A strong portfolio with a clear point of view across typography, layout, and original design work
Experience designing for both digital and physical products
High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator with the ability to create production ready files for print, embroidery, and apparel
Strong understanding of print production and garment graphics
The ability to move quickly without sacrificing attention to detail
Exceptional communication skills
Someone who genuinely cares about quality and takes pride in the work
Preferred Experience
2 to 4 years of graphic design experience
A background in apparel or brand design is a major plus
A degree in Graphic Design or a related field is helpful, but not required
About Motier Motier is a lifestyle brand built from the ground up with a focus on quality, design, and community. What began as an idea has grown into a retail store serving thousands of customers each year. Everything we create is intentional, and we are continuing to build toward something much bigger.
If you are serious about design and want to be part of something that is still being shaped, this is the opportunity.
