As Senior Events Sales Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating key industry relationships, enhancing brand visibility, through tailored market strategies. The Senior Events Sales Manager will focus on capturing new business for the Events Floor. This includes cultivating and maintaining key industry client relationships, enhancing brand visibility, formulating effective business strategies, and successfully managing all aspects of the sales cycle.

About The Ned: The Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time.
Seven years after launching The Ned London in 2017, we are proud to have opened Ned’s Club in the US capital, our fourth and newest location.
The property: Ned’s Club Washington DC is a members’ club set over three floors of a neoclassical style building situated within President’s Park at 734 15th Street NW. The Riggs Building sits opposite the US Treasury and was constructed in 1930. The 12-story building is located around the corner from the White House and sits above the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream, formerly the historic Riggs Bank Corcoran branch.
Reporting into the Director of Events and as a key part of our Catering and Events team you will:
Responsible for securing MICE business from North America Market from all segments
Develop and implement a MICE sales strategy aligned with Ned’s Club’s revenue targets
Identify new business opportunities, from both direct business and third-party agencies
Prospect and develop new agency and planner relationships
Focus on key market segments: incentive houses, meeting planning agencies, and corporate direct from the North America market
Prepare, implement, and compile data for the strategic sales plan, annual goals, sales budget, forecasts to monitor performance and future opportunities
Prepare a weekly sales update, a monthly performance report, complete Sales Mission/Tradeshow report to track ROI and share insights to track performance and shape future strategy
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies accordingly
Identify potential third party listings that could be advantageous for lead generation
Where necessary to proactive sales, collaborate with the implementation of digital campaigns, newsletters, and targeted content for national meeting planners
Professionally represent Ned’s Club at major industry events and hosted buy programs
Conduct regular client and agency meetings (virtual or in-person)
Organize monthly/quarterly/annual sales missions across key regions in the U.S. and Canada
Host training sessions, webinars, and FAM trips for target segments
What you can bring to the role:
Experience in Event sales, Sales or MICE role within a luxury hospitality environment
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and successfully managing high-end MICE business
Strong network within the U.S. and Canadian markets
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships simultaneously
Knowledge of international MICE markets, particularly within the luxury segment
Creative mindset with the ability to develop high-impact sales proposals and presentations
Ability to travel across the U.S. for regular sales missions and tradeshows
