We Are Looking For The Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets within their assigned geography or territory. This role involves owning the entire sales process, from building and managing customer relationships to identifying needs, preparing quotes, negotiating deals, and fulfilling orders. The Account Manager works closely with internal teams to resolve administrative sales tasks, maintain accurate CRM records, and ensure seamless order management. They monitor account profitability, proactively address changes in product costs, and regularly update forecasts to align with division strategies. Collaborating with Sales Development Representatives, Business Development Managers, and Sales Managers, the Account Manager ensures effective performance against key KPIs while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
What You’ll Do
Own the end-to-end sales process within assigned accounts in geography/territory, driving revenue and sales growth through building customer relationships and identifying needs.
Qualify and understand account needs, recommend FDH solutions, prepare and share quotes, negotiate/close opportunities, troubleshoot, and fulfill orders.
Achieve the annual sales quota for assigned accounts.
Qualify sales leads routed from Sales Development Rep and drive leads to closed deals.
Facilitate administrative sales tasks by reviewing quotation orders and working with sales support to resolve order acceptance issues.
Maintain accurate records in CRM systems pertaining to sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status.
Assess customer information to anticipate changes that could affect sales revenues and budget plans; update rolling forecast monthly and report on variances.
Monitor and maintain profitability with assigned accounts in line with division strategy, proactively managing changing landscape of product costs.
Coordinate closely with sales manager to ensure performance against key KPIs and metrics within territory, division, and segment.
Communicate the outcome of negotiations and ensure that contract copies are appropriately documented, approved, and distributed.
Work closely with BDMs on assigned accounts to obtain competitive pricing, cost, and other information required to develop the selling strategy and obtain approval for the proposal.
Work internally with supporting teams, such as LTA management.
What You Bring
A bachelor’s degree.
Special Requirements
U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.
ITAR requirement.
