GENERAL FUNCTION The Account Executive is the first level of contact with existing accounts in their assigned territory for Essilor Labs of America (ELOA). This role is responsible for sales performance, customer relations, and growing sales volume for Essilor branded products in assigned accounts. The Account Executive must consistently achieve established sales goals, optimize managed‑care practices, and cultivate strong relationships with customer service and lab personnel. Ongoing communication with the District Sales Manager about personal development, sales results, and action plans is required.

Major Duties And Responsibilities

Partner with Specialists to drive Essilor branded growth, training opportunities, and collaboration on current initiatives.

Develop the existing account base (75 %) while gaining new accounts via territory prospecting (25 %).

Review cycle plan, market conditions, Essilor KPI expectations, and customer needs with the District Sales Manager to plan territory sales strategy and refine call schedules.

Build and implement a strategy for all accounts, creating an in‑depth plan for key accounts.

Collaborate with lab personnel to identify and understand account opportunities, adjusting call schedules and business plans accordingly.

Utilize brand sales strategy to develop trusted partnerships with ECPS, growing both branded product sales and overall business.

Determine customer needs and position Essilor’s premium branded products and Customer Development Group programs and services to meet those needs.

Use analytical tools and software applications (SFDC, Rx Analysis, Profit Analyzer, Price‑File Maintenance) to manage territory accounts.

Apply a consultative selling approach to drive immediate sales and establish long‑term business partnerships.

Review territory plans regularly.

Vary professional selling approach based on segmentation, audience, and ECPs’ business approach.

Conduct highly effective account seminars for large and small audiences.

Anticipate and address customer needs and issues proactively, resolving problems promptly and strengthening relationships.

Basic Qualifications

Demonstrated sales results with 3 to 5 years of sales experience.

Strong interpersonal communication skills, flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to contribute personally while supporting the team.

Proficient computer skills.

Demonstrated presentation skills.

Customer service orientation required; experience with client relations strongly preferred.

Must be able to travel overnight approximately 50 % of the time.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Pay Range: 56,750.00 – 94,959.50. This role offers a base salary plus an uncapped commission structure. Salary and benefits are determined by geographic location, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. A competitive bonus and/or commission plan, health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and employee discounts may also be offered.
