Position Overview As a Sales Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting Erlab’s commercial operations by assisting sales representatives and ensuring seamless order flow from quote to invoice. This role combines customer service, administrative precision, and sales coordination to enhance overall efficiency and client satisfaction. You’ll be responsible for preparing quotes, maintaining CRM accuracy, coordinating with internal teams, and verifying all aspects of sales transactions—helping ensure that every customer experience reflects Erlab’s commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, issue, and track customer quotes for assigned sales regions.
Conduct timely follow-ups on open quotes, orders, and pending customer requests.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
Collaborate with operations, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Verify sales orders for accuracy including PO numbers, amounts, lines, and delivery details.
Review and confirm shipping documentation such as picking lists and shipping methods.
Coordinate and host occasional Zoom or Teams training sessions in the Inspiration Center.
Process sales orders and confirm all necessary parts are properly ordered.
Support general administrative needs for the sales organization.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required
2+ years of experience in sales support, inside sales, or customer service.
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Team-oriented with a strong customer service mindset.
Preferred
Experience supporting field sales or B2B accounts.
Familiarity with quoting, order management, and invoicing processes.
Exposure to technical or industrial products (a plus, but not required).
Working Conditions
Hybrid based at Erlab’s Rowley, MA office.
Standard business hours apply with occasional flexibility for meetings or training sessions.
Minimal travel required (less than 15%), primarily for customer visits, trade events, or training.
Role involves regular computer and phone work in an office environment.
Requires collaboration across departments and coordination with remote team members.
