Associate Account Manager, Small & Medium Business Expedia Group powers global travel for everyone, everywhere. Our platform brings together industry-leading brands, cutting-edge technology, and a diverse, collaborative team focused on removing friction from the travel experience.

We believe travel is a force for good — building connection, fostering understanding, and opening minds. Our success comes from our people: curious, courageous, and committed to progress. Together, we're helping partners grow, travelers explore, and the world move forward.

As an Associate Account Manager on the Partner Success team, you’ll be at the forefront of helping Vacation Rental Hosts grow their business through Vrbo and Expedia Group.

This is more than a support role — it’s a strategic partnership built on insight, influence, and impact. You’ll use performance data, marketplace trends, and a consultative approach to challenge hosts' current strategies and guide them toward better results.

You’ll need to be both strategically sharp and operationally strong — balancing high-volume partner engagement with deep, outcome-driven conversations that drive meaningful change.

In This Role, You Will

Manage a portfolio of Vacation Rental Hosts and act as a trusted advisor, helping them reimagine their approach to content, pricing, availability, and traveler appeal

Use insights, data, and trends to challenge the status quo, helping partners uncover blind spots and adopt new ways of thinking

Deliver tailored recommendations that align with host maturity, property type, and market demand to maximize bookings and visibility

Confidently lead conversations that influence behavior change, even in the face of resistance or ambiguity

Maintain a high-output rhythm of consultations, follow-ups, and reporting across a large book of business

Recommend platform tools and Vrbo/Expedia Group solutions that align to business goals and improve the end-to-end traveler experience

Collaborate with internal teams to elevate issues, remove friction, and share insights that benefit the broader marketplace

Conduct primarily virtual engagements, with occasional in-person meetings (up to 10% travel)

Experience & Qualifications

2–4 years of experience in account management, sales, or client services — ideally in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills; you know how to look at data, spot the “why,” and act on it

Comfort influencing decisions and guiding others through change with confidence and clarity

Excellent communication skills — you know how to simplify the complex, listen with intention, and move conversations forward

Proven ability to manage time, prioritize activities, and balance multiple goals simultaneously

Familiarity with Salesforce, Tableau, or similar CRM/BI tools

A strong sense of ownership and follow-through — you don’t wait for things to happen, you make them happen

Experience with the vacation rental or broader travel industry is a plus
