Job Title: Scheduler- Nuclear Projects

Type: 3 month contract with possible extension

Overview System One is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to support operating plants and new nuclear deployment projects. This role focuses on schedule development, critical path analysis, and 12–24 month resource forecasting in collaboration with engineering and leadership teams.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, status updates, and schedule analysis with appropriate software
Support development of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) to align scheduling with cost tracking requirements
Perform critical path analysis and “what-if” scenario planning to assess impacts of changes
Identify potential delays, risks, and integration issues; recommend corrective actions
Identify and ensure adherence to required project resources (staff, materials, equipment, etc.)
Collaborate with Project Engineers (PE’s) in maintaining resource loaded schedules for engineering projects and analyzing project performance
Support schedule development for proposals and include this forecast in team loadboards for all medium and high probability proposals – support a resource demand extending 12–24 months
Collaborate with engineering leadership in forecasting workload and staffing needs / forecasts to support hiring plans; complete analyses and advise of future challenges
Develop project metrics and generate accurate, timely reports for management
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with a minimum of 8 years of related experience or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
Expert understanding of planning and scheduling concepts
Comprehension of nuclear power plant systems, components, and interrelated activities
Experience supporting large and complex projects
